Yesterday while I was drawing and doing some art (being very artsy). I was thinking of a blog post to write this week.
And then it struck me!!
I decided to share with you guys some of my drawings. I mean who doesn’t love art?
Art is some of my favorite things to do.
Let’s take look…
I tried to draw a male face here, and I used a Staedtler HB and a tradition B to get some of the lines very clearly. I was nervous at first because I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out. But it turned okay, it looks pretty good, even though I have to admit it myself.
AHH!! This character you guys must probably know: Phineas, from the old Disney show called Phineas and Ferb. That series wasn’t really my favorite, it was kinda boring, but oh well.
I just used a normal Staedtler 2H pencil here. I thought at first it was going to be easy to draw the head and the body, but boy that ain’t easy!! I tried to look online how to draw the head perfectly and the body, it went smooth sailing after that, so I can’t complain.
The arms and legs were a bit of a challenge so you can decide if it looks good enough.
You must be probably wondering: Why a cat?
Well, I did say before I like art, and most of the time I like to draw something original. I like to see how that would turn out. I wouldn’t call myself an expert in drawing or anything, but I love to draw something that may not be too difficult or too hard.
The cat was a real challenge though. This was my first time drawing a cat. I threw the first drawing away, so I started over and the second time was okay. I used for this drawing Staedtler tradition HB and HB2, and a thick black woodless charcoal pencil to make some of the edges and curves darker.
I just made thin grey lines and made the sides of the cat dark, but you have to make sure you draw the shape of the cat first and clearly, so you can get an idea what your cat is going to look like. The tail looks a bit weird I know, but like I said before it’s my first time drawing a cat. The body worked out okay and the face with the eyes and whiskers, but the tail looks like a bit out of shape. You guys can decide.
Art is just something wonderful, drawing fills your imagination, and is very descriptive.
Well I hope you guys have enjoyed viewing some of my drawings
Share some of your thoughts what you think, maybe some of your own drawings. And make sure to leave a like and a follow…
Until next time!!
