OH NO!! Today is the last Season post!!

It’s really sad that our ‘Seasons‘ theme is coming to an end today. I really enjoyed sharing with you guys about the seasons and the impact they can have on a person’s life.
Today I am going to talk about Autumn and what can we learn or benefit from Autumn.

Let’s dive into today’s post!!

In my last blog post ‘Seasons in our lives: Summer’ I talked about Summer and the sunny weather and how happy the sunshine make us. There is an article down below to read about SAD.  It’s very interesting. Seasonal affective disorder (SAD)
After summer vacation, enjoying the sunshine, having fun on the beach……WAIT?! What happened to the green grass??  Why are the leaves starting to fall from the trees?? THE ANSWER?!

And what does that mean exactly?!
Well, according to Wikipedia:  “Autumn marks the transition from summer to winter, in September (Northern Hemisphere) or March (Southern Hemisphere) when the duration of daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools down considerably. One of its main features is the shedding of leaves from trees. Autumn is also the season of the primary harvest.” Wikipedia
Autumn is also about nature in general, in terms that nature is starting to lose its beauty. The flowers are dying, the leaves are falling from the trees, and they change to red, yellow, and brown.

The grass is being covered with the red, brown and orange leaves that fall from the trees. The weather in Autumn is between summer heat and winter cold.
The Autumn season in South Africa generally occurs mid-February to April.  The Autumn weather offers in some ways the best weather, getting colder as the season progresses towards Winter SEASONS IN OUR LIVES: WINTER…

In Cape Town, autumn is fantastic, with hot sunny days and warm, balmy nights which many people spend at outdoor cafés.  But I actually wanted to tell you guys today that Autumn (metaphorically speaking) symbolizes an end, but it can also symbolize a new beginning.
During Autumn / Fall, the leaves on the trees change and plant life begins to wither away as winter approaches. Also, the air is usually crisp and windy during Autumn as the temperature begins to drop.

And how does Autumn relate to our lives????  Well…
Autumn is almost like preparation to be aware of problems and the rough times that are coming. And eventually, those bad things come into our lives, no matter what it is, and that is the storm that soaks us dry and makes us miserable.  But each season that passes throughout the year brings new things into our lives, whether it’s negative or positive.
Personally, for me, I see Autumn as a goodbye to Summer, and that is kinda sad I mean who doesn’t love the sunny weather? But also, on the other hand, I see Autumn as a new beginning, nature around us is changing and until next Spring we will experience happy times again and sunny weather.

And that’s the end of our ‘Seasons’ journey.  Thanks so much, everyone for traveling through the different seasons with me and exploring through them…!!! I hope to hear what you think…

Leave a like and a follow, and I’ll see you guys again soon. Byeee…
