Hello everyone and welcome back into 2019!  I hope you had a well-rested holiday and an awesome Christmas, along with New Year’s of course!!

Today I have a collaboration post with another creative/talented blogger, Grace, who will share her favorite things about Britain. Enjoy reading, and share of any recent events you may have attended or your place of interest :))

Hey everyone, my name is Grace or @gracedoesblogs on Instagram! I also have a blog myself: Devan asked me to write a post for his blog, and I was beyond happy to do so and so excited he had asked me!

I thought that I would share some of my favourite things about Britain with everyone reading, because I know a lot of you don’t live here and have never visited, including Devan! I love learning about new cultures, but today I thought I would tell you about mine!

Throughout the whole of Britain, there are some absolutely. beautiful places, including the towns and cities. Of course, the capital city is London, which is a truly amazing place!  Other major cities include Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, Brighton etc. Personally, what I love most is the diversity! Even though I haven’t been to all these cities yet, (many are on my bucket list), I can definitely say that London is just like a cultural hub! There are so many people from different countries, races, and religions and it’s so fascinating to be an onlooker to all these people working together and living simultaneously whilst they are each so unique and different!

I am such a fan of the English seaside! It is very different from other places across Britain, and I love that they are within a close radius to the large cities, take Brighton for example! I love the atmosphere and the smell of the seaside! I think it’s different to an exotic beach and beaches in other countries because it’s usually cold and bleak..but that’s part of why I love it!

This is a bit of a weird one, and I didn’t really know what to title it, but I love where Britain is on the map, in terms of ease of travel! We have positioned just a short train ride, plane journey or even ferry crossing away from lots of other countries in Europe, such as France and Germany. We are also just above Africa, so it’s very easy to travel there too!

England honestly has some of the best food, and we eat food from a lot of other countries, even if it isn’t completely authentic! Of course, we also have some classic English foods, such as fish and chips, roast dinners and TEA! OMG, I love tea so so much, if you’ve never tried it, then you really are missing out!

My final favourite thing about Britain is the TV! We have the BBC, which is amazing and streams some of the best shows, including my personal favourite; Strictly Come Dancing. Unfortunately, if you aren’t from here you won’t be able to watch it (unless of course, you come to stay), but there are lots of. lips on youtube!

Thank you all so so much for reading this blog post, and again to Devan for letting me write something for his blog! I’d love to know something about your country or culture, so leave it in a comment below, and I will be sure to check back in on those and reply to them!! If you liked my style of writing and want to see more, then please do check out my blog, liked above!

Grace :))
